Back in the Yuletide/Christmas mood! After that depressing last video ("Hard Times Come Again No More"), here is another nice Christmas/holiday video--it's a Unitarian Universalist mashup because it's a Christmas lullaby/carol with a nice Pagan Yule log in the background! Happy Yule! :-) Current Mood: peaceful |

A "warning" (heh) I just posted this over on Facebook: In case you missed it earlier in my other videos (those of you who are watching ::grin::), I sing songs whether they are part of my belief system or not, if I like them. So there may be one or two Christmas songs coming up that might throw you for a loop. Don't worry: I'm still a pagan-y Unitarian Universalist. My niece calls this approach the All-You-Can-Believe Buffet. Yeah! :-) Current Mood: content |

A Christmas music video featuring... our new fiber optic tree! It looks better (and larger) if you watch it directly on YouTube. Also there is more explanation there on YouTube in the sidebar. Current Mood: peaceful |

Argh. I am not good around sick people. I avoid going to hospitals as much as possible.
Cat'r is having outpatient surgery next Wednesday, but with general anesthesia. They want him to be with someone (not alone in his own apartment) at least one day, so he'll be staying here with us. I'm a terrible wimp about seeing blood, my own or anyone else's. I want to be strong for him, but I'm afraid I'm gonna be a wimpy useless so-and-so.
Bunnicula said he'll take care of everything. This *should* make me feel better. I'll have to figure out how I'm going to handle this before the "event" because I either try to micromanage or else am totally useless. I need to figure out how to be the most helpful, i.e. stay out of the way.
Okay, back to stuff I have to get done today: breakfast, laundry, grocery list, etc.

I won! and I've got Mono! Heh. Well, I haven't got Mono yet, but I will! I won AdelleTheGreat's Kiss Me contest! and the first prize is a cute little plush mononucleosis virus! LOL! Here is my entry that won. And earlier this week I won Brick's Beginners Contest! All the winners got a $10 gift card or $10 cash or $10 donation to the charity of their choice or whatever! Here was my entry for that: [ETA: I can't get Mono. He's been around cats for years. I am totally terribly allergic to cats. Adelle and I are gonna figure out something else, so Mono will go to the second-place winner, which is fine with me] Current Mood: amazed! |
